Winner of the Play Groues call for expressions of interest for lot 4 of the Hanriot sector
The operation designed by CALQ agency and the Canadian architect Michael Green on lot 4 of the ZAC des Groues, is a mixed wood structure programme of 8,500 m² in a district undergoing major change in Nanterre.
Biosourced and recyclable, wood will allow this building to actively participate in the reduction of carbon emissions and contribute to the fight against global warming.
One of the strengths of lot 4 is its mixed programming: with shops, offices and 88 homes, it is a question of superimposing, interweaving and mixing uses and encouraging porosity to encourage sharing and the creation of value.
The base is composed of 4 shops opening onto the future Place d'Arras and Avenue Arago, as well as an office space on the first floor with a hall on the ground floor. The residential units occupy 7 upper levels, from R+2 to R+8. A shared garden on the ground floor and a green roof will enhance the building. Two basement levels will house parking spaces, technical rooms and cellars for the flats.
The exterior façade is punctuated by large sliding windows highlighted by bronze frames; some units will have balconies.
