Pointe des Arts , a mixed-use complex with art centre Le Large
2026 - Boulogne-Billancourt, France

Construction of a cultural complex on the upstream tip of Île Seguin

Pointe amont de l'île Seguin, ZAC Rive de Seine, Boulogne-Billancourt 92

The project Pointe des Arts (S16/S17) designed by architectural practices RCR Arquitectes (2017 Pritzker Prize) and CALQ stands on the upstream tip of Île Seguin in Boulogne-Billancourt. This new area devoted to culture includes a centre for art, an 8-screen cinema and retail units.

The cultural facilities stands along one side of an internal street leading to the banks of the Seine and the main building to be used for retail purposes stands along the other. Overhanging the river, the centre for art has been designed as a link between the two banks of the Seine.

The upper terrace of the cultural centre features a garden, most of which will be planted. The offices «set» on the terrace, will blend in with the scenery of the surrounding hills perfectly.
